I enjoyed reading the articles from your website of your barefoot running. I’m sure it really feels great. I have never ran barefoot but do a lot of walking barefoot during the warmer weather in Seattle. I run three times a week, about eight miles each time. I run along Alki Beach. Since the bottoms of my feet are fairly tough from walking barefoot, I would imagine it wouldn’t be too difficult to do some of my running barefoot.

My partner and I just started talking about running last night, and she brought up trying barefoot running since she has a history of knee and hip issues from her days in basketball. I was wondering if you know of any clubs in seattle, or places to start.
I’ve been researching this online, and what keeps coming up is how different the form is from the running we have been trained to do running in sneakers. We have both been inactive for quite a while, so I would love to meet up with people who have been doing this and get pointers/training. Any suggestions?
